Friday,
September 2
- Chum arrives at midnight, hung out at the airport
- Alicia and Craig’s flight is delayed, they barely make their connection
- Jessy, Carlos, and Daniel meet in Toronto
- Tina and Robyn fly out in Boston
Saturday,
September 3
- Carlos, Providing Daniel and Jessy, and Alicia and Craig arrive at 8:35 a.m.
- Tina and Robyn arrive at 8:55 a.m. Meet up with Chum
- Carlos and Craig went to get the van, because the shuttle driver sucked
- Went to CostCo and buy supplies
- Checked into the AirBNB
- Group was now eight people. The fun began!
- Daniel made pasta
- Hung out in the Hot Tub and talked about what celebrities we liked
Sunday,
September 4
- Jason arrives at 6:15 a.m.
- Daniel Davenport arrives at 7 a.m.
- Steve arrives at 9 a.m.
- And then there were ELEVEN
- DD, Jason, and Steve (The Soggy Bottom Boys) went climbing and to buy supplies
- Chum, Tina, Robyn, Craig, Alicia, and Carlos went to the Secret Lagoon and had Fish & Chips
- Then Jessy and Providing Daniel went to see Geysir, the oldest Geyser
- We climbed a mountain and then went ziplining
- When we returned, we had dinner, Jason, Robyn, and Carlos did work
- Then everyone crowded into the Hot Tub and discussed their worst history
Monday,
September 5
- Miranda and Red Daniel arrive at 6 a.m.
- They go to the Blue Lagoon and then Costco
- THIRTEEN PEOPLE! AH-AH-AH!
- Chum and Robyn go snorkeling
- Alicia, Carlos, Tina, and Craig go walk around, see waterfalls and such, reading about awful Icelandic history
- Jessy and The Boys went to Vik, the black sands, see a glacier
- Everybody else hung out, drew, and played Llamas Unleashed, then went to dinner at Mika
- There was limited seating, so Adequate Daniel, Carlos, Chum, Craig, and Alicia made some pasta instead
- Everyone arrived and drove off to see some Northern lights
Tuesday,
September 6
- Horseback riding (@ 2 p.m., $117 ea.) https://www.ishestar.is/packages/lava-tour/
- Miranda, Red Daniel, Tina, Robyn, DD, Chum
- The Boys go to Thingvallir to try to snorkel and see some fissures
- The rest of the people go to Costco, come back, stay home and have a Trip Trip (gummy bear wars) and tried to do laundry
- Then we played How Well Do You Know Me
Wednesday,
September 7
- Travel to Northern Iceland and spend the night somewhere. See some trolls, have a hard time getting fed (like, they didn’t want our money or to help us), then hang out in the hot tub looking at the disappointing Northern Lights (much like waiting too long to get married)
- Jessy and Craig felt an earthquake
- Not participating: Miranda and Red Daniel, who go to Vik and yarn stores, went to school of beans and had a great hot chocolate
- The Soggy Bottom Boys went to go see some glaciers and hot springs, including the Secret Lagoon again
Thursday,
September 8
- The Northern Island group goes to a bakery, through a mine tunnel, a waterfall, a hot spring, then comes back
- Miranda and Red Daniel have a quiet day in and went to the Secret Lagoon
- The Soggy Bottom Boys go Hiking
- Grilled food and Chik’n food
Friday,
September 9
- Blue Lagoon then the Phallus Museum
- Miranda and Red Daniel went to the Punk Museum instead
- Amy arrives at 7:20 p.m., Carlos, Tina, Miranda and Red Daniel go pick her up and get food)
- The rest of people wander then Providing Daniel tried to get a tattoo
- FOURTEEN?? WE’RE AT 14! OMG!
- Play Cards Against Humanity
- Debrief about the Trip
Saturday,
September 10
- Daniel Davenport leaves at 10 a.m., Steve takes him
- Back to Twelve People
- Miranda and Amy go see goats and get tattoos
- Everyone else either stays asleep, has crepes, or goes to the river
- Go to a Tomato Restaurant
- Hang out in the Hot Tub, dance party, chili, and play Scruples
Sunday,
September 11
- Jessy, Adequate Daniel, Alicia, Craig leave at 10 a.m.
- Carlos leaves at 12 noon.
- Steve leaves at 3 p.m.
- Jason leaves at 5 p.m.
- Tina and Robyn leave at 8:25 p.m.
- Chum leaves at 6 a.m., Jessy, Tina, and Providing Daniel help Carlos drive them
- Now it’s just three people chillin’, they go snorkeling
Monday,
September 12
- Amy leaves at 10:40 a.m.
- Miranda and Red Daniel leave at 4:50 p.m.
- Goodbye, Iceland!

Maybe. Whether to add people to the plans (or allow refunds to those who must pull out) will be decided democratically by the people that contributed $100 by April 2. Contact us and we’ll decide on a case-by-case basis.
